Betty Louise (Stevens) Robertson, age 91, Grant City, Missouri died August 30, 2017 at Orilla’s Way Residential Care Facility in Grant City.

Betty was born February 20, 1926 in Worth County, Missouri; the daughter of the late Lester R. and Edith I. (VanSwearingen) Stevens.

Betty was a graduate of Skidmore High School, Skidmore, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Albert J. Robertson on September 22, 1946. To this union two daughters were born Christie and Cathy.

Betty had previously worked as a key punch operator for the Old American Insurance Company. She enjoyed taking care of her home and family. Betty also loved being “Grandma” to her grandchildren

Betty’s memberships included the Order of the Eastern Star and she had been a member of the Allendale Baptist Church, Allendale, Missouri and later the Albany Baptist Church, Albany, Missouri.

Betty was preceded in death by: her parents, husband (A.J.), son-in-law Larry Ross and an infant great granddaughter Anna Landphair.

Her survivors include: daughters, Christie Ross, Maryville, Missouri, Cathy (Leland) Cook, Toledo, Iowa; six grandchildren, Ayrica (Eric) Richardson, Lisbon, Iowa, Allyson (Ron) Landphair, Dike, Iowa, Jennifer Cook, Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Jarett Cook, Colville, Washington, Kenna Hauber (Mitch), Lincoln, Nebraska, and Brad (Kara) Hauber, Grant City, Missouri; ten great grandchildren, Ava, Bethany and Cayla Richardson, Jake and Camille Landphair, Giovannie and Gabriel Cook, Kayley, Jolee and Barrett Hauber; one brother Pren (Martha) Stevens, Grant City, a sister-in-law Phyllis Robertson, Marshfield, Missouri; several nieces, nephews and host of other friends and loved ones.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Andrews-Hann Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 10-11 AM prior to the services. Inurnment will be at a later date in Grandview Cemetery, Albany, Missouri.

A memorial fund has been established in Betty’s name.
